The small, hand-held gage conveniently has two faces, one on each side for right and left handed use. The dials are movable and each side has a tolerance marker. For use, the gage is laid on the saw blade so that the contact point touches the cutting edges of the saw. The pointer gives an instant reading of the measurement. The standard flat feeler shown on the gage above has a diameter of 10 mm (.4"). You may also request pointed feelers, spherical feelers or flat 4.8 mm diameter feelers. Pointed feeler, 4.8 mm flat feeler, standard 10 mm (.4") feeler Accuracy on .001" models is .001" over the entire range. On the metric model, the accuracy is 40 µm.
