Starrett indicator spare parts | ||

We are once again offering a selection of user replaceable spare parts for the Starrett dial indicators. We will not be able to offer internal parts required for repairs at this time. For many Starrett indicators, bezels exist in the old metal style and the new plastic style. It is possible to replace the old with the new, which simply snaps in place. Removing the old metal bezel can be tricky because your have to disengage the metal spring underneath the bezel's lip, by depressing it through the small hole that you'll find on the side of the bezel. No one enjoys doing this, and we're pretty happy that Starrett decided to switch to the new, snap-on plastic bezel instead. All our bezels are sold with a new crystal already installed. This makes changing bezels and crystals very easy, since otherwise a crystal press is required. If you wish to buy just the Starrett crystal, you may need to use a crystal press for installation. If you don't know how this works, take a look at page 15 before ordering. | ||

Plastic bezel clamp PT11277 fits all Starrett indicator models beginning with 25-. The screw, if needed, has to be ordered separately. The plastic clamp has a peg on it which has to fit into the little hole on the indicator's body, just below the screw hole. | ||
