We're going to charge $9 for shipping and handling on all orders up to $100 in value; the rate increases thereafter. $20 minimum for C.O.D.

It may be to your advantage to use your own UPS collect account, in which case there is no charge. However, we will insure the package for full value unless you specifically request otherwise. We'll only send via UPS because we may need to track packages and verify delivery. Many on-line parts orders ship in 1-2 days.

Repairs and new tool purchases

Shipping and handling for repairs and new tool purchases: $9 to 12.95 ($19.95 for C.O.D.) plus insurance (55 cents per $100).

It is to your advantage to provide us with a UPS collect account number. This way, the shipping costs will be billed to you directly by UPS. You may be getting a better discount from UPS than we do, plus our shipping and handling costs will be higher if they're added to your invoice.

Return packages will be insured for full replacement value, unless you request otherwise. You may have your own insurance coverage, for example. Or, you trust UPS so much that you're willing to accept a loss now and then. (We wouldn't trust UPS that much. Have you seen the conditions of the packages lately?)

In any case, if you use your own UPS collect account, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

Returns of items not repaired

If an instrument is beyond repair or you request the return of a not repaired gage, we may ask to use your UPS collect account. These items will not be insured. In the event that the package is lost in transit we will not be held responsible for the cost of a replacement.

International Shipments

We'd prefer to use UPS, but you may request FedEx or DHL if you have an account with them. All international shipments will be made to your collect account. An additional $45 handling fee applies in all cases except Canada.

Global Priority or Global Express (EMS) is also an option which may be more suitable to low value parcels. It also usually avoids customs charges and brokerage fees. You may choose this option at your own risk. Shipping costs start at $20.

Other carriers: FedEx and DHL

Be advised that, if you want us to use your FedEx or DHL account, there will be shipping delays since we do not have daily pick up with these carriers.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to adjust these costs as necessary depending upon circumstances. An oversized or extra heavy package, for example, will cost more.
